Welcome to my artisan workshop

These objects are made using the ancient sgraffito technique on 24-carat pure gold leaf or white gold leaf.

Thanks to a special preparation, the gold leaf is made to adhere to Murano glass.

It is then engraved very slowly and patiently with an extremely fine metal tip, until the desired decoration is achieved.

The origins of this technique date back to Roman times, more precisely to the “mosaic period” (3rd century AD).
